Other Operating Systems: I mentioned that smart phones, tablets, and even TVs have operating systems. Smart TVs will all have an operating system developed by the maker of the TV, so there aren’t a ton of options there. With smart phones and tablets, you can generally choose between:

-Androids (Google OS)

-iOS (Apple OS)

-Windows (Microsoft OS)

Your mobile products will work better with everything else in your house if you keep them all the same. If you have an iPhone, it will work best with a Mac computer. An Android phone will work best when used in combination with other Google products. That doesn’t mean that you can’t mix and match. I use a Windows PC but I have both an iPhone and an iPad. The iPhone and the iPad work great together and I only connect them to the PC when I want to transfer music over. That doesn’t mean you have to get what I have. I’ve owned Android phones in the past and enjoyed them. Again, I would recommend that you try out the different types of smart phones and tablets before you make a purchase.
